Frequently asked questions
The P2M Scholarship Programme is for schools to sign up. It is a comprehensive, two-year preparatory course designed to help aspiring medical students gain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for successful medical school applications. It includes in-person workshops, online guidance meetings, UCAT preparation, and interview training.
The programme is open for schools to sign up their pupils in Year 12 and Year 13 who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine. It is suitable for students at different stages of their medical application journey.
Schools will need to complete an application, details can be found on our website. We will then get back with full details of the scholarships and the different plans offered to accommodate the needs of different schools.
- The Core version provides essential support, including a full-day workshop (4 hours), one progress and guidance meeting, UCAT preparation, and essential interview preparation, along with one personal statement review.
- The Enhanced version offers additional features, such as a full-day workshop (6 hours), two progress and guidance meetings, focused UCAT preparation, detailed interview preparation, and two personal statement reviews.
- The Comprehensive version includes the most extensive support, with a full-day workshop (8 hours), four progress and guidance meetings, intensive UCAT preparation, comprehensive interview preparation, two personal statement reviews, and additional features like continuous mentorship, eportfolio development, resilience training, networking opportunities, and sessions on transitioning to university.
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for groups of more than 5 students. This discount applies to any additional students above the initial five.
The workshop provides an overview of the P2M Scholarship and the two-year plan, introducing students to the diverse roles and pathways within the medical profession. The Core version includes hands-on experience in various aspects of medicine. The Enhanced version adds CPR training, and the Comprehensive version includes CPR, suturing, role plays, and detailed notes.
These meetings are held online and provide updates on medical advancements, facilitate discussions on student progress, and offer guidance on securing healthcare placements. The number of meetings varies by programme version: one meeting for Core, two meetings for Enhanced, and four meetings for Comprehensive.
The UCAT Preparation includes focused sessions designed to help students develop strategies and skills for the UCAT examinations. It includes practice tests, review of test-taking strategies, and individual feedback.
Students submit their personal statements online for review by doctors or medical students. The Core version includes one review, while the Enhanced and Comprehensive versions include two reviews to ensure detailed feedback and improvements.
The interview preparation includes training for Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) and panel interviews. It covers common interview questions, ethical scenarios, and personal reflection, facilitated by experienced doctors and medical students to simulate the actual interview environment.
This optional session, available for Year 11, 12, and 13 students, focuses on building resilience and improving public speaking skills. It is designed to enhance students' personal statements and interview performance.
The programme includes continuous support through regular progress and guidance meetings, mentorship, updates on medical advancements, and opportunities to discuss student progress and any concerns. The number and frequency of these meetings vary by programme version.
The Comprehensive version includes additional sessions on transitioning to university, e-portfolio development, resilience training, and networking opportunities to ensure a well-rounded preparatory experience.
Our refund policy allows for refunds up to 30 days before the programme start date, minus a processing fee. After this period, refunds are not available. For more details, please refer to our terms and conditions.

In-person sessions are conducted at school sites and other designated locations. The schedule and venue are coordinated based on the availability of both the school and P2M staff to ensure optimal convenience and resource access. Specific details will be communicated to enrolled students prior to the session dates.
